TELECOM GRAVITY© is a web service that is offered in both a hosted and on-site application model. With this flexible model, implementation time can be greatly reduced. For our hosted clients, the only implementation requirement is the necessary paperwork with the wholesale carriers to register for electronic ordering and to establish trading partner ID’s or Application ID’s. Typical implementation time including integration will range from 30-120 days.

As an OSS provider, we invested significant resources into TELECOM GRAVITY©, and were our own first customer. Through the development process of this platform, we worked through the many challenges of achieving a simplified interface with the back-end complexities of electronic ordering. At Overgroup, we analyze everything we do from a business perspective first and a technical perspective secondly.
One such example of this is an automated status monitor in Gravity. As our order volume has grown, and we have more data to analyze, we noticed that the wholesale providers fail to provide completion notices electronically on a small percentage of orders due to various glitches in their OSS’s. In the past, an anomaly such as this would be handled through some type of exception process by customer service & provisioning employees, such as when an employee realizes a customer’s order missed its confirmation date and researches it further. We understood how this affected the bottom line and implemented a status monitor in Gravity that would automatically follow-up with the wholesale provider by electronically querying their databases for an update instead of just waiting for the completion notice that may or may not be delivered.
